When the mushrooms are fully grown, it is time to harvest and then dry them. If you dry them properly, these mushrooms have a very long shelf life and are suitable for microdosing.<\/p><p>Now take your dried mushrooms. You&#8217;re going to make a powder out of this. To grind your mushrooms, you need a coffee grinder or blender for it. This is usually done in a minute, after which you have a fine powder. Be careful not to open the device immediately. The powder is so fine that it would puff up and spread a fine mist of mushroom powder throughout your kitchen. Put it in a sealable container or jar and you can scoop out, weigh and take your dose whenever you want. Thus, you will accurately take exactly the right dose every time.<\/p><p>You can also make capsules with your microdose. Empty capsules are readily available online (both gelatin and vegetarian, in various sizes). You can put a dose of powder into the capsules yourself or use a capsule machine for it. Capsules make it easy to take your dose, and you are not bothered by the taste of the powder.<\/p><p>To weigh out a microdose, you do need a good, accurate scale. Ordinary kitchen scales usually cannot weigh microdoses because they do not display tenths and hundredths of a gram. If you use truffles (for this you can use a truffle grow kit, such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/dutchmicrodosing.com\/en\/psilocybin-truffles\/magic-truffles\/magic-truffle-growkit-utopia\/\">Magic Truffle Growkit Utopia<\/a>, then the dose is a bit higher, because they contain less psylocibine. You then take 0.5 to 1 gram of powder.<\/p><p>So those who will microdose can weigh out a daily dose of the magic mushroom powder, or take a capsule that contains the dose. Also keep in mind that you don&#8217;t always have to microdose every day. You can adhere to the <a href=\"https:\/\/dutchmicrodosing.com\/en\/microdosing-routine\/\">Fadiman routine<\/a>. This is designed to prevent habituation to the active ingredients (psilocybin) in magic mushrooms and to properly feel the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC6364961\/\">effects<\/a> of microdosing.<\/p><p>Now that you know how to make your own mushroom powder for microdosing, you can get started.
