Features

This growbag is cleverly designed with two layers: at the bottom you’ll find sterile corn spawn for rapid colonization, topped with a substrate mix of coco and vermiculite that supports fruiting. Thanks to the self-healing injection port you can easily work sterile, and the 0.2 micron microfilter ensures good air exchange without unwanted bacteria or fungi getting in.

Ingredients and/or composition

The growbag contains a bottom layer of sterile corn spawn and a top layer of coco with vermiculite. Features a microfilter (0.2 μm) and a self-healing injection port. Supplied without spores or liquid culture.

Use

Inoculation:
Inject 2.5 to 5 ml of your spore solution or liquid culture through the injection port. Always work clean and wear gloves.

Incubation:
Place the bag in a dark location with a temperature between 20 and 24 °C.

Colonization:
The mycelium first grows through the corn spawn and then spreads to the substrate. Keep the bag closed during this process.

Fruiting:
Once the contents are fully colonized, open the bag to initiate the fruiting stage.

Subsequent flushes:
Preferably use a separate growbag with microfilter to properly control humidity and prevent contamination.
