Ingredients and/or composition

This complete monotub set contains:

• 1 inflatable growing chamber with valve
• 10 red plugs (for the growth phase)
• 10 white air filters (for the harvest phase)
• Removable inner liner
• Built-in drainage hole
• Manual with clear instructions

Use

Step 1 – Preparation
Inflate the tub (±2 minutes). Clean your hands, arms and the tub thoroughly with 70% alcohol. Don’t forget the plugs either.

Step 2 – Making the mix
Mix fully colonized grain spawn with a moist substrate mix. The correct ratio is 2 parts substrate to 1 part spawn. Test the moisture: when squeezed, 1 to 2 drops of water should come out.

Step 3 – Filling
Fill the tub with the mixture, mix well and press lightly to remove air bubbles.

Step 4 – Growth phase
Let the tub sit for 7 to 14 days at a temperature of 21-24°C. The mycelium should take over about 80% of the substrate.

Step 5 – Harvesting
Replace the red plugs with the white filters. Ventilate daily for about 10 seconds. Harvest when the veil under the cap releases.

Step 6 – Restarting
For a new round, add 1-2 liters of water. Let this soak for 2 hours, drain through the drainage hole and you’re ready for the next grow. Good for 3 to 5 harvests.
