Sterilized Substrate – 1200 cc is the ideal base for growing your own magic mushrooms. No more preparation needed: this substrate is already fully sterilized and ready to use. Just add your favorite spores or liquid culture and you’re good to grow!

Features

This substrate is perfect for those who like to maintain control over the growing process, without the hassle of mixing or sterilizing ingredients themselves. The mix contains oat flakes, vermiculite, perlite, and gypsum, with an optimal moisture content of approximately 60–65%. This allows the mycelium to colonize evenly and efficiently. Thanks to the included humidity tent, you can easily create an ideal environment for fruiting.

• Vermiculite

Use

1. Inoculation:
   • Spore syringe: 5 ml for 1200 cc
   • Spore ampoule: half an ampoule for 1200 cc
   • Liquid culture: 2–5 ml per 1000 cc
   • Homemade liquid culture: first 2 ml of spores in vial, let mature for 2 weeks, then use completely
2. Incubation:
   Place the closed container in a dark, warm place (approximately 23 °C). Use a heat mat if necessary.
3. Colonization:
   Leave the substrate completely undisturbed until everything is white with mycelium. This may take a few weeks.
4. Preparing for fruiting:
   Fill the container with cold water, place in the refrigerator for 24 hours, and then drain everything.
5. Fruiting:
   Place the container in the humidity tent with a temperature between 23–28 °C, sufficient humidity, some daylight, and fresh air.
6. Daily care:
   Ventilate twice a day and mist lightly. The first mushrooms usually appear within a few days.
7. New flushes:
   After harvesting, you can repeat the process. Often the following flushes are even more productive.
